Nigeria is now the fastest growing Pathway Area in the world, with over 6,400 students enrolled in 2023. Enrollment of new students in January 2024 topped 2,600, with another 5,000 projected for the remainder of 2024. Slightly over half of these students gather virtually each week, with the remainder gathering in over ninety in-person sites throughout Nigeria.
To successfully complete Pathway online courses, and attend their virtual gatherings, students need a working laptop. Students and their families make great sacrifices to acquire a laptop; many students struggle to complete their initial coursework using old cell phones; and countless, otherwise qualified students, are unable to participate because the cost of even simple devices is prohibitive.
The need has never been more urgent.
